A number of the Seminars have no prerequisites so you are welcome to register for these courses at any time. Make sure to check these details when booking in for courses. If you have any queries don’t hesitate to call us in the office.
How do I become a Practitioner?
If you have completed the Path of Ease & Grace seminars and want to train as an Ignite Your Spirit Therapist, you can register for our Therapist Training Program.
Each Wednesday there is a full program of instruction from 9am - 5pm for budding therapists who provide supervised healing to the public in our morning healing clinic.
This is a professional training program leading to Certification as an Ignite Your Spirit Therapist. As well as learning this unique style of energetic, no touch, no drug therapy, you will also engage in a transformative personal development program of self healing under the guidance of our experienced teachers and practitioners.
How do I become a Teacher?
If you are passionate about Teaching you are invited to undertake The Harmony Centre’s Comprehensive Teacher Training Program. You can expect to gain valuable leadership skills, as well as a wealth of practical tips on teaching groups. As a prerequisite for this, you must complete both the Path of Ease and Grace plus Higher Guidance Seminar Series. For acceptance into this program you must also have completed Practitioner Training and be a ‘Friend of the Harmony Centre (see next question).
What is the Friends of the Harmony Centre?
Friends of the Harmony Centres are people who have found that the healing and education they have received at the Harmony Centres through meditations, our healing clinic or our seminars to be so valuable that they want to make this opportunity available to others. Friends donate regularly (tithe) to support the work of the Harmony Centres and to support the physical mental emotional and spiritual healing of others.
The desire to give and support worthwhile projects is part of the evidence of spiritual maturity and is a hallmark of an open heart. The heart is the doorway to the Divine. Tithing to ones spiritual teachers or their community projects provides karmic grace and protection to those who seek to progress further along the spiritual path. To those whom much is given, much is expected. This is Spiritual law. At the Harmony Centres all of our seminars are offered to the public on a donation basis. So are meditation classes. Our community healing clinic provides individual healing to those who cannot otherwise access or afford private healing consultations. This work is financially supported and made possible by the Friends of the Harmony Centres.
The Higher Guidance Series, therapist and
teacher training are available to Friends of the Harmony Centres only. This is because we see that ‘walking our talk’ around loving kindness
and generosity is a necessary pre-requisite for higher spiritual and energetic
education. The amount given is entirely up to the individual. The principle
involved is the activation of the Law of Flow through giving. If you would like
to be part of our higher education but cannot financially contribute to the
Friends of the Harmony Centres scheme, we welcome service as a valuable
contribution to the running of the centres. This will allow candidates who are
in dire financial circumstances admission to the higher training, subject to
meeting the other pre-requisites for the training program to which they make
application.
How do I Volunteer?
There are many opportunities to become involved at The Harmony Centre. Volunteering is a great way to meet people, be part of a project that benefits others and have fun at the same time. We help our volunteers to embody compassion and loving kindness as well as completing the many tasks that are required to be done to keep the Harmony Centre Foundation moving forward.
Being of service to our fellow beings is a yearning within the heart of each and every spiritual master that has ever lived. Giving service is one of the hallmarks of a developed being with and a deep understanding (not just mental idea) of how the universe works. Service is essential to develop the karmic grace to receive the Higher Teachings. Enlightenment just doesn’t happen otherwise.
Our Volunteering program is a perfect opportunity to get involved in a world mission in its infancy, and earn karmic merit while you have fun and learn as you go. If you would like to help and to be sent a volunteer info pack, please contact The Harmony Centre.

What are the teachings based on?
"In my opinion, the essence of Spiritual teaching is love. Good Spiritual teaching is not shrouded in mystery and complexity, does not defy common sense, incite judgment, nor is it fear based. It recognises that there are many paths to God. Good spiritual teaching is easy to understand, effective, reliable, useful, helps us to develop inner strength, tolerance, compassion and good humour. It improves the quality of our lives, and provides us with self empowerment, understanding, effective and peaceful strategies for conflict resolution. Through it we become infused with happiness and appreciation for the richness of life. Good spiritual teaching is based on sound universal principals and is relevant to the Age and consciousness of the society in which we find ourselves. Most of all, it resonates with the very core of our being!"

What is IYS Therapy?
“Ignite Your Spirit” (IYS) Therapy was developed by Shakti Durga after 15 years of study with various teachers of energy healing, and in various spiritual traditions.
The therapist will scan your energy field and assess its strengths and weaknesses. They may give you initial feedback about your energy anatomy and what it is that they wish to focus on, in consultation with you and what it is that you wish to attain from the session.
Sessions take no more than 45 minutes and during that time the therapist will focus on your physical, mental, emotional and soul bodies. Sometimes you just need a good clean out. Other times you will be assisted to harmonize difficult relationships. You will receive spiritual guidance based on the state of your chakras, and even past lives or deceased family members can surface for one reason or another. Sometimes our sessions lead to two healings, as the departed loved one also receives healing on the non-physical body so as to merge more fully back into the Soul realm.
