Shanti Mission Harmony Centres (SMHC) are schools for the soul which have been in operation since September 2007. Since then we have provided  organized instruction and training on a
regular and continuing basis to members of the public in the use of energy
healing modalities to control disease, we have trained therapists in energetic healing techniques and also trained teachers. 

          The
SMHC premises are also used to provide spiritual instruction via seminar programs,
in respect of the teachings of numerous religions. These teachings have at
their core a belief in a Supreme Being, incorporate 8 pillars of core beliefs,
canons of conduct giving effect to the core belief, derive veracity from human
spiritual evolution and are based upon principles of moral spiritual
leadership. The correlation between health and spirituality is being studied
and particularly in respect of psychological ailments, chronic illness and
immune system functioning there is strong evidence that the seminars and
classes being offered which bridge the two disciplines of alternative healing
and spiritual instruction, is improving the health, wellbeing and outlook of our regular attendees.

The instruction is provided in class form. We are committed to providing the best standards of adult education with lots of interactive, experiential learning. we use the audio and visual arts to help embed the teachings and to help transform those who are in attendance. Seminars are run in residential retreat classes, or as as one or two day programs. We also hold evening
classes and half day seminars. Our vocational training programs for spiritual teachers and healers are run on a  2
semesters per year of 20 weeks each, one day per week. Regular meditation and satsang classes are held which are also proving to be very beneficial to those who participate.

Brief Orientation

The Path of Ease and Grace is our transformational core teaching program. It is a great place to start if you are looking for a quality education.

The Higher Guidance series of seminars require completion of the Path of Ease and Grace prior to enrolment.

The Higher Guidance series looks at a range of world religions from an esoteric point of view, with experiential activities and tools from both Eastern and Western

traditions explained.The objective of this series is to promote peace through understanding of different religious cultures and traditions, spiritual practices and customs.

Spiritual seekers will benefit from the vast reservoir of Universal Teachings that are contained in these traditions, looked at through the eyes of synthesis rather than

intellectual analysis or dogma. We focus on the beauty, practicality and grace inherent in the various teachings and find a way to reconcile seemingly diverse teachings

through the boundless wisdom of a loving heart.

IYS Therapist Training comes next, it is a 12 month full time or 18 month part time study leading to a vocational training certificate being awarded to successful

candidates.

Teacher Training is open to accredited IYS therapists.

Advanced teacher training is open to certified teachers.

Make a Difference Program is open to those who have completed the Path of Ease and Grace seminar series and who are wishing to pursue a path of service in the community or within Shanti Mission. It is for students who seek a continuation of a structured learning program offered in a part time weekly format (one evening per week)  but who do not wish to train as therapists or teachers.
