Shakti Durga is the co-founder and
inspirational leader of Shanti Mission Harmony Centres which has twelve life
enrichment centres – the home centre based in Cooranbong. The centres cater for people who would like to improve
their health and wellbeing, and get more meaning and quality out of life. There
is a continual exploration of consciousness. They offer a range of seminars
which develop life skills in a supportive environment, as well as cleansing and
uplifting meditation and chanting practices. Arising from a deep commitment to

What Does Shakti Durga Offer?

Shakti Durga is
a gifted teacher and speaker. One of the main aims of her work is to share her
understanding that human beings have an ‘energy body’ as well as a physical
body. Pain of all kinds – physical, mental, emotional, spiritual – is held in
our energy field and if we can learn to sense this energy body, understand it
and take care of it, then we can lead healthier, happier, more peaceful and
more fulfilling lives.

Shakti Durga
lives just such a life herself now. But it was not always so. She spent 16
years practising as a barrister. Post-natal depression, a painful divorce and
stress in general sent her on a search which ultimately led her to study with
several of the world’s leading spiritual teachers and healers. With the
intellect and abilities that allowed her to be successful in the legal world,
she has de-mystified teachings and practices from east and west and blended
them into her own unique approaches. The signature modality is a form of energetic
healing called Ignite Your Spirit^TM and this is taught in a foundation set of seminars The Path of Ease and Grace^TM.
