Ignite Your Spirit is a healing modality which calls for excellence and skill in the practitioner. Unlike some other training programs which are in the complementary therapies market, IYS therapy training places a great deal of emphasis on the spiritual, emotional, mental and physical development and purification of the practitioner. This is in addition to a very solid skills based training. Those who become certified to practice IYS therapy have gone through a rigorous training regime. We have set the standard of care for our clients at a very high level. we hope that you will be well served by our professional, insightful and compassionate therapists.

           Path of Ease and Grace Seminars:

Our therapists must complete each seminar in the path of ease and grace series a minimum of two times prior to graduation. This is because the seminars are so rich and multi-dimensional that participation in them only once is inadequate for therapists. Therapists are expected to have a deep and comprehensive knowledge of the concepts and tools contained within these life changing seminars. 

There are 9 seminars in this series. These seminars are also available to members of the public. They incorporate basic building blocks of IYS therapy as set out in the 4 text books on
which the seminars are based.

 Method
of assessment is via supervised practical hands on healing work.

The
trained teacher assesses the proficiency of the student and must provide a
certificate of competency if the student wishes to progress to the Higher
Guidance series of seminars.

 Each
seminar is a 16 hour study module which can be taught in two days or 5 half
days.

            Higher
Guidance series of Seminars

      There are 14 seminars currently available
and others are under development. These seminars have the following
pre-requisites.

• completion
  of all Path of Ease and Grace Seminar series
• Submission
  of an application form for assessment of suitability for higher study
• Be
  accepted into the training program based upon work done in Path of Ease and
  Grace seminar series

Therapists are expected to have studied a minimum of 6 of these subjects prior to certification as a licensed therapist.

Method of assessment is via practical hands on healing
work taught within the philosophical context of some of the world’s great
spiritual frameworks. It is considered that spiritual/energetic healers need to
have a basic, working understanding of each tradition so as to be well rounded,
non-sectarian, humanitarian compassionate therapists.

The teacher assesses the proficiency of the
student and must certify the competency before the student can progress to the

Therapist Training

IYS
therapist training is a vocational training program designed to equip students
who pass the rigorous standards set in this training, to become world class
energetic healers. The program is approved by the Energetic Healers Association
of Australia and the International Institute of Complementary Therapies.
Graduates of this training are eligible for registration by both of these
associations.

Pre-requisites

• Satisfactory
  completion of the 9 Path of Ease and Grace seminars
• Satisfactory
  completion of 6 Higher Guidance seminars
• Submit
  an application form for assessment of suitability for higher study
• Be accepted into the training program based upon
  work done in Path of Ease and Grace and Higher Guidance seminar series as well as any other prior learning from other healing or spiritual training academies
• Agree to abide by the code of ethics and code of
  conduct of the professional Ignite Your Spirit therapist

Licensing of Practitioners

A register
is kept of IYS energetic healers. Each must:

• Pass
  the rigorous assessment criteria
• Have
  4 healings from another professional IYS therapist per year
• Attend
  two annual training seminars to maintain currency of practicing certificate
• Hold
  valid professional indemnity insurance
• Be
  a member of a professional body such as the Energetic Healers Association or
  the International Institute of Complementary Therapists

Day
seminars or residential retreats are held regularly to provide ongoing
mentoring, quality control and skills of professional Ignite Your Spirit
Therapists
